Gabbage tuck & flowers

I have raised, well atleast I try to raise my kids gender neutral.
Its only after having coci I realized that they have their differences naturally. My first born girlie liked all in pink when she was little. She loved flowers as a baby and loves them bow too. Coco has never shown any interest in color pink or flowers. His favorites are vehicles, of all sorts. He loves to watch vehicles merely running, rides by sitting in it or just playing with the toy ones. He named his green colored toy ride on as 'gabbage tuck' a little over a year ago. He's almost outgrown it now but its still a garbage truck for him.

One fine day in NG garden shanaya saw a beautiful tree with pink purple flowers. Shanu to aadu : Wow..look at those flowers. They are so beautiful. Aadit don't you like flowers?
Aadu : No ! I like gabbage tuck 😆😆😆😆😆😆

The other day I asked coci
Me : how old are you coci?
Coco: no answer, busy looking at a book
Me again : do you know how old are you coci?
Coco: Yes
Me : how old are you?
Coco : I am seventeen 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

Me, shanu & even coci laughed so hard on this. Later shanu found the connection, she told me ' mumma, its the peppa pig episode he's seen, Charlotte sheep says she's 17'. Shanu is super observant & there may ot may not be connection but we sure had good fun on this 17, for long.

Margaret 2

A post after long, but Margaret is still a hot favorite of Aadit.
The other day we were at Shanaya's friend's (tashvi)  place, kids (tashvi tanmay & my monkeys) were running around playing. Her dad walked in there and said hello to Aadit & asked him his name. Aadit answered softly, with a mask on his face it became difficult for Tashvi's dad to understand. He bent down near Aadit putting his ear closer asking again what did you say? Aadit answered but again he didn't understand. He (Satya) was expecting Aadit as an answer which did not happen, so he turned to me saying he's saying something starting with M but I don't understand it. I went to Aadit and asked him to tell his name. Aadit clearly said "Margaret" 😂

I had to explain the husband wife as to why is he saying margaret & not Aadit. 😆 It was fun.

Later I made coci understand he's mumma's Margaret but Aadit for everyone else. That has been agreed upon 😊 and its been good for 4,5 days now. Lets see how it goes.

Margaret

Aadit loves this character called "Margaret" from Daniel Tiger. Not only does he love to watch it but also calls himself "margaret" often.
When coca is in his character and someone in the house calls him coco or Aadit, he says "I am not coco, I am margaret" 😍😄

The other day one of Shanaya's friend was skating down when the kids spotted her from our bedroom window and started talking to her. After shanu was done talking a bit with her, Aadit said " Hi Aayesha, I am Aadit. I am Margaret" 😁😍😘😘

The cockroaches

Its been a few months that our pest control for  house has expired and the cockroaches have started showing up in the kitchen. Due to covid, I obviously don't want to get it done anytime soon either. As an alternative to control that, I started to clean the house at night. As soon as the dinner gets over, the kids start their sleep routine and I start cleaning. The kids obviously noticed that and kept coming back to see me vaccuming the house. The 2yo asked for a week in row "mumma al you ceanin?" 😁 ,& 6yo seemed fine with it until yesterday.
Today afternoon she asked me as to why I started cleaning at night. I explained everything to her. She almost screamed " Stop doing that mom. You don't want the cockroaches to go extinct too. Do you??" 😂

Coca speaks a lot by now, he can express whatever he wants, I wouldn't say very clearly but he definitely can!  He can say most of the simple words by now. Mumma, papa, tata were the first few he mastered, in that order. Now goes ahead with
