Everyday is "Father's Day"

I don't much believe in these western mother's father's dog's cat's day system. Its good to express gratitude,  no doubt there but wonder why a specific day is required to do so...
Anyway, my fb is overflowing with the senti msgs posted for dads, I just got tempted to put my baby's snaps here. Off course every day is father's day for her & "pappa kuthe ahe? " & "pappa asel" sums up it all. She loves rj a lot!!

Smile please

My dollu smiles beautifully. She has got her own concept of smiling. She stretches her hand wide on both sides when she smiles, & thats what she thinks smile is :) :) :) Love u shanu.

Mumma Offish gheun jau

Everyday whenever shanaya wakes up, her first question is "papa kuthe ahe?"
Then depending on the kind of sleep she has had she is either ok with me telling her "he has gone to office" or she gets cranky & cries for a while (the degree/extent is directly proportional to the quality of her sleep)
Today she got up, I answered her question & unlike the usual she told me "mumma offish gheun jau" (mumma takr me to office too) :) She persisted for a good while. Then I made her speak with rj over phone post which she got busy with other things & forgot office :)

Battu :)

Shana my pillu speaks very very well for a 22 month old, I see myself in her since all the growing up years, mom has told stories of how I started talking well at 6 months. (I heard some wonder kid was saying full sentence at 11 month, sounds total bull & not to be believed since 99% that comes from this source is utter rubbish!!! Moreover this story came only after shanaya was born & the source got to know about me started spekaing at 6 months ;) )

Anyway, the point is shanaya is excellent in talking & expressing herself for her age. Not only that, she even understands the food tastes & can tell what she has eaten. I obviously did not test this for any purpose but this incident just happened.
Gunjan, deepak & saiesha had come over on last weekend. Gunjan was feeding saiesha potato wedges & gave it to shanaya too. Shanaya liked it & ate some. The next day, remembering that she had liked potato the day before I make something similar & give her to eat. While preparing I was talking to her that I prepared battu (her baby word for batata) for her. She ate one or two bites of it, went to her jumping corner near the swing & inthe sweetest voice said "gunjan aunty battu dete" . I started laughing. This girl understood what she ate the day before & framed a full sentence on that :) :) My guess is she is going to be a foodie, just like me :) love my baby *)
