Having said u almost speak fully by now..let me tell u what all things do u say.

My super baby

Hello my baby, I feel I am writing all these things for you to read some day :) 
Shana...u r truly a super baby my darling!!! You have been surprising me all these months by over achieving everywhere. Just to tell u that u had started turning on ur tummy right in November. Much before that u had surprised me by holding ur neck straight at a very early age. Then u started walking slowly in the 10th month & by 11th u were running around everywhere. Not only that u started talking early too.
Now the latest feather in ur cap is ur communication skills. U my doll..all of a 15 months can speak almost everything now :) I feel soooooooo proud darling.
U r just brilliant!!!

New words

My darling is learning new words at an amazing rate. Today she said 'chhan chhan' very nicely. During the day she followed me well saying 'dabaa', she was playing with one & I told her that its dabaa. She followed right back saying dabaa in her soft voice.
Then at night when rahul said 'very good' to her, she immediately said 'veiy good.' :)

Happy First B'day my darling

Happy First B'day my baby! You have given me so much of happiness just by coming into my life, I am ever grateful to God for a baby like you. I was extremely busy in taking care of you in last year & now when I look back & think about the days gone, I feel u r growing up too fast! Even today I remember the day I was admitted to hospital for a c sec. I first saw u in the OT tho I cud not hold u there. I was being operated & the Dr. told me 'Congrats..its a baby girl' :) I smiled...was eager to see u. Then the dr.got u near my face & brushed ur cheek to mine.Thats was our first meet. I so much wanted to see u.Had to wait untill evening for that. & then I had tears in my eyes looking at u. I felt we always knew each other, & in any case, we had already known each other for a lil over 9 months:)

Happy First B'day my baby. .I thoroughly enjoyed the last year & u r the sole reason for that. U have beautifully managed the transition from infancy to toddler hood. I am eager to see & enjoy these beautiful phases of life with you honey.u r sunshine of my life!

P.S. Am late to write u by 7, 8 days & I wil write separately in detail as to why did I get so late.

Bhoo bhoo

Its been quite some time that I showed shana a dog (bhoo bhoo) & taught her the word however off lately she is almost in love with dogs :-) She can't get her eyes off any bhoo bhoo she spots on the road, we have to spend maximum time there untill the bhoo bhoo goes away.Even if she hears a dog barking at home or anywhere else (dog not in sight) she immediately says "bhoo bhoo" :-):-)
We regularly visit one of the chicken shops in Aundh on sat/sun morning where there is a pet clinic nearby.Shana enjoys watching all the doggies waiting outside the clinic to see the Dr.....All in all..my best friend bhoo bhoo! Oh wait....well she shares similar affection for "kabu" (kabutar- piegon) too.She spots them much faster than me or rahul & starts waving instantly to them saying hi.That enthu happy change in her voice tells me that a piegon has alrdy been spotted & then I find it by looking at where she is looking:-) My baby & her buddies!

Lets get down

Today my bachhu swiftly got down from double bed on her own.Every day she surprises me with new things.Then right in the morning ( it doesn't hve to morning necessarily, shana uses brush anytime of the day)  she brushed her teeth with a baby brush for the first time today. I forgot to click pic of the same :( Never mind...next time.
At around 4'o clock when the cook was cooking in the kitchen & shana wanted to play with her, I took her out to balcony.i showed her rains, birds, clouds etc as usual.At that time wind started blowing with great speed, so I said "chala aat jauya, hawa ahe na khup" then again I said "hawaaa"  & manu immediately said "hawa" :-) then I repeated the word 3, 4 times & she did too with me.chalo..one more word added to our vocab today:-)

Object of affection

Shana is 10.5 months now & today for the first time she held something (a tumbler :-) very tightly while sleeping.I was putting her to sleep singing her sleeping time songs.Thats when she pointed towards bathroom.I thot she wanted to take a look at washing machine instead my lil one picked up a tumbler.she held that in her hand all the while I was singing, must b for good 20 min. & even after that she just wudn't let go of that.I tried to take it away from her after sleeping but nope...shana held it even in sleep.

Amazing Developments!!!

Last one to two weeks have been a game changer for Shanaya... Both the trip to Pali and Akola had been amazing barring the train ride to Akola. Shanaya enjoyed every bit of it. Her love for animals and greenery was so much seen. She just cannot get her eyes of booboo (dog), Kombdi (hen), hamma (cow) and kau(crow)/chiu(birds)/Kabu(pigeon). Apart from her usual murmurs about mama, pada, dada, aatya, Shany distinctly said the word "SaSA" on 28-Jun-14 and "Thanda" on 2-Jul-14. From 1-Jul-14 it seems she has given up majority of her crawling and now enjoys walking by holding my or Kalpana's hand. Yesterday she took 4-5 rounds of the complete house this way. She is itching to walk and run. One amazing stuff happened on 2-Jul-14: Shanaya was bending her head down when i commented that she seems to be doing the exact posture done during a namaz. Kalpana felt that she may have stopped for sheshe. In a split of second, to our surprise, our little one did a gulanti udi... both of us were pleasantly shocked.

Look ...I can stand!

On 28th May 2014, manu stood on her feet steadily for 4, 5 seconds for the first time.I was just watching doing that with a mixture of love & amazement in my eyes.Since then she has been doing that everyday to make sure I dont get to sit any place for more than 30 seconds:-D:P
Well ..not really I have been on my toes for more than 3, 4 months already now.
I am super happy as my little girl is soon going to walk..love u my cutie pie! You are sunshine of mumma's life!

Tooth became teeth.

Shana's got four teeth by now.The upper two & lower too in the front. The lower ones are yet to come up fully. Now shana bites like anything, has alrdy bitten me multiple times:-) She comes & expresses her baby love by kissing me on face anywhere, now tht she has got teeth she just bites. Similar is the case of her nails..My face tells the story ( & even shana's:-) if I dont trim it every alternate day.My lil baby girl is growing...

First tooth

Shanaya has bn super cranky for the last 2 days, had fever yesterday morning.As a result evn I was totally exhausted.
In the evening I checked in manu's mouth to find a tooth has erupted :-):-):-)
OMG...my lil one got her first tooth...am happy, now I know why my baby was troubled.

Wah wah

On 25th March 2014, my pillu said 'wa wa' for the first time.:-) she has a lil doremon toy which moves around in circles.I was playing with her & said 'wah wah doremon kasa chalto ga manu chhan chhan..wah wah wah wah'.she repeated 'wa wa' immediately after that :-):-):-)
Good, so now our dictionary of words includes ae mumma,nana, ha, dadada, wa wa....

First words

On 10th March 2014, shanaya cud say nana :-)....she followed me very well when I was saying nanananana for something rhythmically.
On the very same day she was trying to touch the mosquito killer racket.I told her manu its 'haaaa' (meaning its hot & something she shud not touch) she wss like haa :-):-):-)
& now she says ummmma..mumma too :-):-):-):-):-):-);-);-):-):-) I just love my doll when she calls me umummmmmma

Oops

Yesterday 6 mar, bantu fell from bed and cried.  The pain I felt was immense... never experienced this kind of pain ever. Was in Qatar and was told about the incident over phone by kalpu... she hd a very painful voice while telling me

Tata

Today shanaya waved tata to me, neighbours and few other strangers when roaming down. She has learnt to wave bye on her own. Few days back her mother also taught her how to switch on light. This post was drafted on 8 mar

Vaccination

We gave vaccination to bantu and came back. My brave girl cried momentarily but I felt the pain for a longer duration. She is too good. The whole day today she was just looking out to have fun, just like pappa.  Today I also noticed that she has a pointed bone at the back of her ear just like me.

Crawling

Today bantu crawled for few steps on her knee. Initially she crawled for 2-3 steps and then for good 4-5 steps....

It was amazing to watch her. She has been crawling on stomach since december end.
